Daladier, Prime Minister, told the Radical Socialists that he had nothing to add cr withdraw from his broadcast of Sunday, when he advocated modification of the 40-hour week in the interests of industries and national defence. Britain, Sweden and Belgium, he i said, worked 48 hours in most industries. and this was essential in the interests of defence.
