DARGAVILLE, This Day. Sydney White, aged three, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. White, of Te Kopuru, while playing with an axe, severed four fingers of his right hand. He was admitted to the Northern Wairoa Hospital, where his condition is not regarded as serious.
