This is “The Lilac Domino,’ which comes to the Regent Theatre on Saturday next. Originally produced at the old Empire in Leicester Square in February, 1918, “The Lilac Domino” ran for two years, and for several years afterwards provincial touring companies reaped rich harvests from its tuneful music and sparkling libretto. In the film the leading roles are taken by Michael Bartlett, the golden-voiced American tenor, and pretty June Knight, the musical comedy star. They make a charming team and succeed admirably in conveying the light-hearted gaiety of the frothy story. Bartlett has a magnificent voice, acts delightfully and more than fulfils the promise he showed opposite Grace Moore in “Love Me Forever,” AND A Super Australian Production Full of Delightful Colonial Humour, Many Thrills and a Splendid Story, “TALL TIM with FRANK LEIGHTON SHIRLEY ANN RICHARDS “■'Beth Approved for Universal Exhibition) SATURDAY MONDAY TUESDAY |R-E-G-E-N*T A Direction - - - Amalgamated Theatres Ltd.
