Prices At Pakotai

The North Auckland Farmers’ Coop. Limited reports a fair yarding at its Pakotai sale yesterday. The offering consisted mainly of dairy stock, for which competition was fairly brisk. Best dairy heifers made from £6 10/to £7 5/-; medium, £5 15/- to £6 7/6; small and backward, £4 10/- to £5 12/6; good dairy cows, close to profit, £6 15/- to £7 12/6; medium dairy cows, £5 10/- to £6 10/-; backward and inferior cows, £4 10/- to £5 7/6; boner cows, £3 10/- to £4; yearling steers, £3 10/-; boner bulls, inferior, £4 5/-. No heavy bulls were yarded.
