Hughes Reaches Alaska
(Received 2 p.m.) LONDON, July 13. The American flier, Mr Hughes, with his crew of four, left Yakutsk in the monoplane “New York World’s Fair, 1939,” on a non-stop hop to Fairbanks, Alaska, where he landed safely.
