Stock Coming Forward Well

Despite the wet and cold weather of the past month, stock throughout Northland is reported to be coming forward for the new season in good condition. As is usual at this time of the ye’ar, there is little activity at stock sales except for dairy lines. Next month, however, the coldest pei’iod of the year should be over, and young stock should be coming forward in large numbers for the spring market.
