King George Suffering From Influenza
(Received 1 p.m.7 , LONDON, July 10,
An official report states that His Majesty, King George, is suffering from a mild attack of gastric influenza, necessitating rest, pending his French visit.
The King has a slight temperature, and stayed in bed today. He will remain there a day or two. It is understood the prospects of his visiting France are excellent. His Majesty’s medical consultants are Lord Dawson of Penn and Sir John Weir.
