Drawn Game At Onerahi

Onerahi turned out with nine players and Hora Hora with only 10 to play B grade ladies hockey under conditions that were not the best. After 19 minutes play D. Bowyer scored for Hora Hora. R. Johnson, the Onerahi goalkeeper, made some great saves. Four minutes after the start of the second half M. Spratt netted for Onerahi. Hora Hora then took play into the Onerahi circle and R. Johnson again showed she was to be reckoned with and made several good saves, but Hora Hora kept up the pressure and I. Stuart netted, putting Hora Hora again in the lead. Shortly afterward M. Stewart, of Onerahi, got a nasty knock in the face with the ball and had to go off, leaving Onerahi with only eight to carry on. From a break-away A. Marshall netted for Onerahi, making the score 2—2. The game finished with Hora Hora pressing in the Onerahi circle, but tiie score unaltered. Umpire: Mr P. Campbell.
