Missing Bridegroom

[Special to “Northern Advocate.”] TIMARU, This Day. Despite extensive and far-reaching inquiries, no trace has been found of Mr Tertius Munro McKinnon, aged 26, of Kurow, who disapeared on July 2 from the Empire Hotel, Timaru, where Mrs McKinnon and he were staying in the course of their honeymoon. Mr McKinnon was married at Oamaru five days prior to his disappearance, and, after the wedding, the couple left for Christchurch, where they stayed until July 2, when they went to Timaru by motor car. After dinner, Mr McKinnon had appeared distressed, and left the hotel at 8 o’clock to see a doctor. When he failed to return, his description was circulated to the various police stations and was broadcast, but no clue of any kind as to his whereabouts has been found.
