[Special to “Northern Advocate.’ \ WELLINGTON, This Day. There was a large attendance on the concluding day of the Wellington Racing Club’s winter meeting at Trentham on: Saturday. The totalisator handled £79,304, compared with £71,887 last year, an increase of £7417. The investments for the meeting were £177,514 10/-, against £161,818 last year, an increase of £15,696/10/-. Scr.: John Charles, Monastic, Six lengths; a length. Time: 4.56. Winter Oats, of 500 sovs.; one mile. -(6-5) Monipere, 7.11, 1; (13-13) Liane, 7.8, 2; (1-1) Ned Cuttle, 8.7, 3, All started. Two lengths; half a length. Time: 1.57 J. Onslow Handicap, of 400 sovs.; six furlongs.—(3-2) Rebel Mate, 9.1, 1; (2-3) Rollicker, 9.3, 2; (1-1) Prince Acre, 9.6, 3. Scr.; Gaily.
