Doctors May Stage “Sit-Down” Strike

(Received 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, July 7. British doctors have decided to adopt drastic trade union tactics, to prevent Austrian medical men practising in Britain. The secretary of the Medical Practitioners’ Association stated that it had been decided to circularise every doctor in Britain and to communicate with every member of the House of Commons. If this was unsuccessful, the association will seek to (arouse the whole country and may stage a “sit-down” strike.
