The results of an open day held by the Whangarei Ladies’ Golf Club at Mi Denby links on Tuesday were:— Best gross score over 36 holes, Miss J, Stewart 168. Morning medal round. —Senior: Mrs F. Reynolds, 86—12—74, and Miss Stewart, 82—8—74 tied, Mrs Reynolds winning on a count back. Junior: Mrs McMillan, 103—3—100. Afternoon bogey match: —Senior: Miss J. Stewart, 2 down. Junior: Mrs Aitken. 2 down.
