Horses Sell Well At Kamo
Walter Wakelin reports that the fully advertised number of horses came forward at the Kamo Horse Fair on Monday. A fuil bench of buyers was present, and competition was keen throughout, resulting in good prices. Good firm sorts were in demand, while heavy draughts were harder to quit. Young hacks and stock ponies also sold well. Quotations: — Heavy draught geldings, £42 to £46; heavy draught mares, £3B to £44; medium draught mares and geldings, £3l to £3B; light farm horses, £27 to £33; good hacks, £8 to £9 10/-; aged hacks, £3 10/- to | £5 10/-; ponies. £4 10/- to £7.- j
