There was a good yarding of cattle for the North Auckland Farmers’ Coop. Ltd. at Waipu yesterday. Competition was keen at improved prices. Quotations: —
Dairy cows from £6 to £7 15/; backward cows, £4 10/ to £5 15/; good Jersey heifers, to £7 5/; fat cows, heavy. £6 15 to £8: lighter, £4 10/ to £6 5/; boner cows, £2 10/ to £3 10/; Shorthorn store cows, £4 15/; runners. £3 lev to £4 10 ; boner bulls. £4 to £B.
Messrs Dalgcty and Company Limited reports holding a stock sale at Waipu on Thursday when there was a good yarding and a total clearance was effected at late rates. Good
springing heifers, close to profit, made from £6 to £7 5/; smaller and backward soils, £5 2/6 to £6: good springing cows, £fi to £7: fat cows, heavy, £7 to £7 10/; medium. £5 to £5 7/6; light, £3 15/ to £4 15/; boner cows, heavy, £2 12/ to £2 15/; lighter £1 8/ to £1 13/; boner bulls, £3 to £6 7/6, according to weight; vveaner pigs, 9/G to 10/6.
