N.A. Power Board Earns £SOOO Profit
The North Auckland Power Board earned a profit of £SOOO on last year’s undertakings, it was revealed by the chairman, Mr, J. A. j McLean, to-day.
He stated that the board had experienced! a most successful year and had made a profit of £SOOO, after providing £2OOO for depreciation. ,He further stated that these profits would be used to place the undertaking on a sound financial basis, and so preclude the possibility of a rate being collected.
