Sydney Demonstration Against Luckner
j (Received 2.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, May 6. A demonstration was made in Sydney last night, during the shopping crush, by groups of men and women, against Count von Luckner, whose admission to Australia was hotly opposed. . Calico banners were carried by some persons, on which were painted “Keep out Luckner, we don’t want Fascism here.” A clash occurred with the police at George Street during the parade, when the police attempted to break up the gathering which was hampering the traffic. There were three arrests.
