The New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club’s inter-Dominion championship meeting could not be opened on Saturday as heavy rain had made the Addington course too muddy. The four days’ programme will now be run off on consecutive days—from April 20 to 23. Australian horses in Christchurch
to compete at the meeting are Our Walla. Joy’s John, Holed and Don’s Son,
