Sydney Royal Show Attendance Record
(Received 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, April 17. The “Sunday Sun,” in describing the huge attendance at the Royal Show yesterday, states that at least--300 people collapsed, most of them at last night’s session. A farmer dropped dead in the crush, and ambulance men had to carry his body above the heads of the crowd to a waggon. The attendance constituted a record of 183,895 for one day. The total attendances at the show so far are more than 500,000.
