Rowing Regatta Resumed Today

The New Zealand championship rowing regatta was continued today in showery weather.. The river, however, is cle'ar of driftwood. Results: Champion Fours. —Clifton 1. Petone 2, Aramoho 3. Clifton took the lead early and were never headed in the last half-mile.
Championship Double Sculls Auckland (Smith and Morey) 1; Union, Wanganui 2; Petone 3. A great finish, Auckland winning by half a length, with a length between second and third;
Champion Eights Wanganui Union I; Waitemata 2; Auckland 3. Won by ihroe-quarters of a length, Tauranga did not start, All the crews were well togthcr for a mile and ahalf when they struck rough water. When in a leading position, Petone swamped and Union headed Waitemata by three-quarters of a length to the finishing post, a canvas between second and third.
