No extra heavy prime steers were yarded. Quotations:— 1 Extra choice sold to 39/- per lOOlbs; choice prime ox, 36/- to 38/-; ordinary and plain, 32/- to 35/-; prime young cow and heifer beef, 32/- to 35/-; lighter prime steers, £ll 10/to £l7 10/-; light prime steers, £lO to £ll 5/-; small and unfinished steers, £7 5/- to £9 10/-; extra heavy prime young cows and heifers, £9 10/- to £lO 3/6; heavy prime cows and heifers, £8 to £9; lighter prime cows and heifers, £6 15/- to £7 15/-; light prime cows and heifers, £5 to £6 10/-; other killable cows. £3 10/to £4 10/-.
