Miss S. Penney
The death occurred recently, after a very short illness, of. Miss Stella Penney, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs J. H. Penney, of Mangonui. The deceased was only a little over sixteenyears of age, and her death came as a great shock to all who knew her. S,he had been a prominent player in the Mangonui Tennis Club, having last year won the trophy given for the most improved player of either sex, and having represented the Mangonui Club as a member of the Grace Cup team. The interment took place in St. Andrew’s Cemetery, the pall-bearers being fellow-members of the tennis club. The sympathy of all is with* the bereaved family. A
