Lord McGowan Cuts Down His Duties
(Received 10 a.m.) LONDON. January 26. Owing to the tremendous strain imposed by his dual posts, Lord McGowan is to resign the managing-dir-ectorship of Imperial Chemical Industries. Ho will remain chairman of the combine. The “Daily Mail” says that in future it is expected that Lord McGowan, as chairman, will preside ■Wer a committee: of executive directors, each of whom will control a particular branch of the company.
