Royal Air Force Revelations
(Received iO a.m.) LONDON, January G. A striking admission that Royal Air Force pilots are put in high-speed machines before they are experienced in them, and that there is a shortage of instruments for bad-weather flying, was made by Air-Marshal Sir William Mitchell. Air Member of the personnel ot the Air Council. Speaking at the Royal United Service Institution, Sir William said the shortage was due to the difficulty in making production keep pace with the demand. He hoped it would show considerable improvement in the near future.
