In reply to Manawatu’s 516, Rangitikei made 203 in, its first innings and followed on for 167. (P. Marshall 15, D. Cameron, n. 0., 51, Marshall, n. 0., 15). Bowling for Manawatu, Downs took four for 38, and Spellman three for 44.
