Sydney Wool Prices Slightly Lower

SYDNEY, January 3,
At the Sydney wool sales today best descriptions when showing length were Arm at the closing December rates, but wools lacking length and faulty lines were from par to 5 per cent lower. , Competition came mainly from Yorkshide and the Continent, with limited support from Japan. Greasy Merino fleece sold to 27d. In all, 12,211 bales were offered and 10.286 were sold, including 1810 sold privately.
