The Stratford,Racing Club’s meeting was concluded yesterday in fine weather, before a good attendance. The totalisator handled £23,277/10, an increase of £547 on the second day last year. The total for the meeting was £47,258, an increase of £5028/10/. R. E. Walsh, rider of Professional, in the Stratford Hack Handicap, was suspended for a month for careless riding. Concluding results:— Stratford Hack Handicap, of 200 sovs.; nine furlongs.—(2) Lickem, 8.0, 1; (9) Naughty Marietta, 7.0, 2; (10) Bonny Glow, 7.5, 3. Eight other starters. A neck; a head. Time: 1.57.
