BRADMAN’S 246 AGAINST QUEENSLAND

(Received 10 a.m.) ADELAIDE, December 27. Playing in the Sheffield Shield match against Queensland, South Australia, in the first innings, lost eight wickets for 429 (Williams 34, Robinson 49, Bradman 246, Waite not out 52). Bradman gave the holiday crowd a great exhibition of batting all round the wicket and was finally caught while trifling with the good bowling of Dixon. Bradman, has now exceeded 6000 runs in Sheffield Shield cricket. Playing Now South Wales, Victoria, y in the first innings, made 415 runs (Hassett 81, Pearson 31).
