Christmas Week-End Free Of Accidents
Something of a record for any Christmas week-end accidents has been created in Whangarei. The number is simply nil.
Neither the police station nor the public hospital has had anything untoward reported to it. Nor has 'die “Advocate” found anything. At a time when drownings, motor fatalities and other accidents are generally a common feature, the total absence of anything serious in Whangaici is worthy of comment. The inevitable minor mishaps have occurred, but nothing of a serious nature has yetcome to official notice.
