Flandin, in an article in the Paris “Soir” on his recent talks with German leaders, declares that Dr. Schacht, who resigned his portfolio of Minister of Economics, was authorised to come to Paris in the summer of 1936 in order to propose the return of Germany to the League if colonies were restored, but the German policy has since changed and return to Geneva is out of the question.
