Mr Roy Langley offered to ar- , range for a picture entertainment for j ex-servicemen and their families on the same lines as previously held. This ■ offer was received with acclamation, j and the executive are to go into the question with Mr Lang Toy as to the ; most suitable evening and to make the i other arrangements necessary. I Occasion was taken to extend a wel- j come home to Mr O’Sullivan, the sec- I rotary of the association, and to com- I mend him on the wisdom of the step | he had taken in entering the ranks of ! the benedicts. After a number of mem- ; bers had spoken of the splendid work I done for the association by Mr O’Sui- ; livan, and the president had presented ' him with the suitably-inscribed chim- 1 ing clock that had been secured for j the occasion. Mr and Mrs O’Sullivan ! were accorded, amid acclaim, the members’ best wishes for the future. I Mr O’Sullivan suitably responded.
