Mr Savage Plans Brief Let-Up
[Per Press Association. Copyright.] WELLINGTON, Monday. The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, will leave for Auckland on December 21, and will spend seven or eight days there before returning to Wellington. “I want every one to understand that it is not to be an official trip in the ordinary sense,” he said. “Even Prime Ministers must have a let-up sometime. I will always be glad to meet old friends and make new ones, but I want, so far as is humanly possible, to forget about affairs of State.”
