Apprentice Jockey Suspended At Auckland

[fecial To “Northern Advocate ”] AUCKLAND, This Day.

Following the running of the Ngataringa Handicap, at Ellerslie yesterday, the judicial committee of the Takapuna Jockey Club suspended the apprentice jockey, A. Curwen, rider of the winner, Palustre, for a month, for careless riding.

The suspension was imposed at a result of an inquiry into interference with Tosh, Airam, Grateful and Bachelor King after the field had covered about a furlong.
