McCarten Suspended For Careless Riding
(Received 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, November 29
The jockey, M. McCarten, was today suspended for two months for careless riding at the Victoria Park races last Wednesday, when he cut too sharply across, forcing Alice Springs, ridden by E. McMcnamin, on to the rails, and injuring both Alice Springs and McMcnamin.
