National Party Branch At Matarau

At a meeting of some 30 settlers of Mataraua and Otakairangi at Mataraua last night, a branch of the New Zealand National Party was formed, the following executive being elected, with power to add:—

Messrs. W. E. Marlin (chairman), lan Bodle (secretary). C. Rushbrook. H. H. Wilsher. W. H. Lewis, D. W. Bodle, A. J. Comric, Mesdames Wilsher, Bodle, C. Rushbrook and Martin.

Messrs. W. E. Martin and lan Bodle were appointed to the electorate committee. which will be formed on December 7 at Whangarei. A hearty vote of thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Bodle for an acceptable cup of coffee and supper was carried by acclamation.
