Financial Aid For Lincoln College
[From Our Parliamentary Special .l WELLINGTON, This Day.
Financial assistance amounting to £26,000 to. the Canterbury Agricultural College at Lincoln, is to be provided by the Government, according to advice received by Mr. H. S. S. Kyle, M.P. for Riccarton, and a member of the board of governors of the college, from the Minister of Agriculture, the Hon. W. Lee Martin.
A grant will be placed on the Supplementary Estimates and it is expected that legislation will also be brought down before the adjournment of Parliament providing for the joint administration by a new authority of the two colleges, Lincoln and Massey, although the existing boards of governors will retain their identity.
