Batting until half past four. Old Boys compiled 167 against Combined Services B. W. Wilson, the ex-Cam-bridgc player, struck form at last, his batting being the gem of the match, particularly his late cutting. Although Coote did not give a chance in his long stay, he was not really comfortable until the twenties were passed, when he opened up with nice shots in front of the wicket.
