Final Vestry Dance Of Season

On Wednesday evening the Christ Church Vestry had its final social and dance- for the season. The M.C., Mr M Porter, thanked all present (and those who would have liked to be present but for various reasons could not make it convenient) for their continued patronage and support towards making these social functions the success they have been.

About 130 couples attended and had a most enjoyable time to the music of Ray Goodison’s Orchestra. The Monte Carlo waltz was won by Mr Edge and Miss McCullough, and the confetti waltz by Mr A. Betters worth and Miss Enid Gee. The winners each received suitable prizes. , Mr Porter announced that the socials would be resumed again next season.
