The weather was overcast but there was a large attendance for the OlakiMaori Racing Club’s spring meeting on Saturday. The investments were £15,524, against £8940 10/ last year, an increase of £6583 10/, Late results were:—

Tuari Handicap, of 150 sovs; six furlongs.—(s) Greenwich, 7.9, 1; (3» Golden Chest, 7.12, 2; (2) Airing, 8.2, 3. Scratched: Omarere. Neck; length. Time—l.l6.
Pahiko Hack, of 100 sovs; six furlongs.—(2) Son and Heir, 7.13, 1; (1) Rotoma, 8.4, 2; (3) Night Spi, 7.5, 3. All started. Half a length; neck. Time—l.l6 2-5.
Mema Hack, of 100 sovs; one mile and 55 yards.—Liane, 9.0, 1; Royal Romance, 8.0, 2; Galteemore, 8.7, 3. Scratched: Southern Blood, Karere Nui. Neck; two lengths. Time—l.4B. Hema Te Ao Handicap, of 130 sovs; seven furlongs.—(3) Mittie, 8.2, 1; (6) Hazocr, 8.9, 2; (1) Jubilee Song, 9.3, 3. Scratched: Airing. Half length; six lengths. Time—l. 29.
