Old Boys’ Cricket Club Meets

The Old Boys’ Cricket Club its annual meeting on Thursday night, there being a fair attendance at the residence of Mr. K. G. M. Kelly. Mr. Wh Coote was in the chair. The balance sheet disclosed a satisfactory financial position. Officers for the ensuing year are: — Patron. Mr. A_ R. Ryder (re-elected); president, Mr. H. C. Rishworth (reelected); vice-presidents, Messrs. H. G. Carruth and W. A. Given (re-elected) and Mr. H. E. G, Smith; secretary and treasurer, Mr. H. S. Day; auditor, Mr. P. Wilson: committee, Messrs. A. G. Kelly, W. Coote. H S. Day, W. Alison and L. James; captain, Mr. A. G. Kelly; vice-captain, Mr. W. Coote.

It was decided to nominate teams in the senior A and senior B grades and to purchase a complete set of new gear.

Donations arc to be made to the Whangarei Cricket Association in preference to paying increased ground fees.
