The surplus on last year's working of the Waiotira Junction Show Association was £l2 16/10.
| Drawing attention to the smallness of the margin. Mr A. Stephen, the president, in his report which will be submitted to the annual meeting on August 25, appeals to all members to use every endeavour to procure new members and strengthen the list, which now stands at 185. A sum of £l6 2/-, of which £ll 15/represents members’ subscriptions, is still outstanding. The president takes the opportunity in his report to thank all members for their loyal support and their efforts to make the last show the outstanding success that it was. He also thanks judges and stewards. , Principal receipts shown on the balance sheet include:—Entry fees, £134; gate, £107; donations, £33; and subscriptions, £7B. No less a sum than £239 was distributed in prize money.
