Mr And Mrs H. Cheeseman Celebrate Golden Wedding

Mr and Mrs Horace Cheeseman, of Papatoeote, celebrated their golden wedding last Sunday at their home. Many friends and relatives were present to offer congratulations, their three sons and only daughter also being present. Mr and Mrs Cheeseman were married on June 21, 1887, at the residence of the pride’s parents, by the Rev. John Dukes. Mr Cheeseman was the eldest son of Mr and Mrs H. Cheeseman, of Kamo, and Mrs Cheeseman was Miss Sarah Jane, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Heape, of Kamo. Guests present at the anniversary included: Mrs Horace Cheeseman (Auckland), Mrs Leslie Cheeseman (Kawakawa), Mrs Lews Ciheeseman (Matakana), Mr and Mrs W. J. Heape, Mr and Mrs Rodgers, Mr and Mrs L. Lord, Mr and Mrs John S. Ryan, Mr and Mrs Horace Ford, Mrs Carey and Miss Ellis.
