WEDDINGS
Price - Webb A pretty wedding was solemnised by the Rev. M. L. A. Bull at the Anglican Church, Mangapai, last week, when Peter Whittle, second son dTMr and Mrs W. Price, Oakleigh, was married to Doris Ethel, second daughter' of Mr and Mrs A. C. Webb, Oakleigh. _ The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a slim-fitting frotek of magnolia satin and a long tulle veil. She carried a beautiful bouquet of chrysanthemums, the gift and artistry of Mrs S. W. Crawford, Maunggkaramea. - Miss Hilda Webb, sister of the bride, attended as bridesmaid and wore a frock of pink silk floral voile over satin. She carried a bouquet of chrysanthemums. .
Mr L. Price acted as best man. Mrs L. B. Finlayson officiated at the organ. The bride’s mother wore a light brown flecked costume with dark brown hat and shoes.
The bridegroom’s mother wore a navy blue costume with hat and shoes to tone.
After the wedding Mr and Mrs Webb entertained a large family party at luncheon at the Marble Bar.
When the bride and bridegroom left for Auckland’ the bride wore a light brown costume with hat and shoes to tone.
