Sheep Attract Buyers At Waipu

Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having g- full yarding of both sheep and cattle at then; Waipu sale on Tuesday.

The entry of breeding ewes and hoggets attracted a large bench of buyers from as far south as Auckland and these lines met keen competition, all selling under the hammer at very full late rates. Cattle also sold at well up to recent values.

Medium 2-tooth wethers made 24/1; medium 2-tooth ewes, 31/6. ■ \ In conjunction with the North Auckland Farmers’, Dalgety and: Co., sold on account of the Commissioner of Crown Lands, two and four-tooth wethers, 28/4; two-tooth Romney ewes, 33/11; four and six-tooth ewes, 35/1'; full-mouth and five-year ewes, £1 10/-; full-mouth ewes, 23/9; medium ewe hoggets, 28/-; medium wether hoggets, 20/6. On account of clients, full-mouth and aged ewes, 9/- to 20/-.
