There is a good attendance, and the track is in excellent order. Results:— , Hastings Handicap, of 100 sovs; five furlongs and a half.—(s) Colleen Gain, 8.6, 1; (4) Marsyas, 8.6, 2; (7) First Chapter, 8.11, 3. Scratched: Shani, Mahala. Head; neck. Time, 1.10. Hawke’s Bay Hurdles, of 150 sovs; one mile arid three-quarters.—(7) Iddo, 9.2, 1; (2) Jdurnet, 10.10, 2; (1) John Charles, 10.12, 3. All started. Two. | lengths and a half; a neck. Time—3.lß 2-5. ■
