’ Late rates prevailed practically throughout the sale at Feilding yesterday. The yarding was very small, but of good quality generally. Store sheep are still in firm demand Fat cattle showed a slight improvement. The range of prices is as follows. — - '
Fat Sheep.—Prime ewes, 30/- to 33/-; others, 22/3 to 26/4; wethers, 29/6 to 33/6; lambs, 23/1 to 26/4. Store Sheep.—Four and' 5-year inlamb ewes, 25/- to 29/-; 2-tooth, 31/to 37/-; 5-year, 27/1;; 6-tooth, 32/9; mixed aged, 26/-; wether lambs, 20/7 tc 23/-; ewe lambs, 27/- to 28/-; blackfaced lambs, 20/- to 23/-. Fat Cattle—Light steers. £6 11/-; cows, best, £6 17/6 to £7 15/-: others, £5 12/6 to £6 10/-; heifers, £6; vealprs, £3 8/-. Store Cattle.—Three and 4-year Polled Angus bullocks, £9 6/-; weaner, Jersey heifers, £2 10/- to £2 14/-.. Dairy Cattle. —Springing cows, £4 12/6 to £7 2/6; heifers, £3 10/- to £5 10/-.
