Basketball At Ararua
The Ararua team travelled to Kaiwaka for Saturday’s competition match, and played a very close game with the Kaiwaka Magpie team, being defeated by four goals hi a high scoring game. For Ararua, J. Cartwright (10 goals), T. Morris (6 goals) and E. Parker (4 goals) were the scorers. The team was: Misses I. Morris, J. Cartwright, J. Smith, E. Hawthorne. N. Noble, E. Morris, D. Smith, K. Morris md S. Parker. The score was; Kaiwaka ?4. Ararua 20.
