Bad weather conditions affected the attendance at a dance organised by the hall committee, which took place in the Riponui Hall on Wednesday. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Mr and Mrs F. Elliott. Voluntary music was supplied by Mrs Phyn (piano) Messrs A. Thomassen (cornet) and R. Webster (violin). ; “ The hall committee decided to hold dances in future at fortnightly intervals.
