The Amberley Racing Club’s meeting was held at Amberley on Saturday in fine weather before a large attendance. The track was fast. The totalisator. handled £8,095, against £4,203

Glasnevin Handicap, of 100 sovs; seven furlongs.—(l) Rebel Chief. 9.8, 1; (4) Top Rank. 7.10, 2; (3) Wino, 9.9, 3. Swordstick, Golden Dart, Fiord and Full Throttle were scratched. A head each way. Time—l. 29.

! G. B. Starky Memorial Handicap, of 130 sovs; one mile and a quarter.—(3) Recollection, 8.3. 1; (2) Rousseau, 8.2, 2; (7) Forum, 7.7, 3. Convivial and Silver Slipper were scratched. A neck; a length. Time —2.10. The v/inner was ridden by A .E. Ellis, who had piloted the victors in the first two races.
