More Britons In Employment
‘ (Received 10 a.m.) RUGBY, April 1. The Ministry of Labour estimates at March 15 that the number of insured persons in employment in Britain, exclusive of persons within the agricultural scheme, was approximately 11,242,000. This was 55,000 more than the month before and 553,000 more than the'year before. At the same date the number of registered unemployed totalled 1,601,201, or 280,330 less than on March 23, 1936.
