Britain Accused Of Cringing To Italy
NEW YORK, March 31. Mr Herbert Morrison M.P. (LabourHackney), on arrival here, told a press interviewer that Britain had cringed to Fascist Italy in her Spanish ‘policy. Mr. Eden had taken a “lie down” position. Britain, France, Russia and the United States were equally to: blame for the failure to provide war supplies for the legitimate Government in Spain. A lecture by Mr. Morrison has been arranged.
